Terms of service

27 October 2026

These terms cover the Mailbolt email client offered at mailbolt.app. By installing or using Mailbolt, you agree to them.

The service

Mailbolt lets you read and send mail through a mailbox you already have. Mailbolt is not an email host. Delivery, storage at the provider, and the provider’s own rules stay with Google, Microsoft, or the operator of your mail server.

You may connect an account only if you are allowed to access that mailbox. You are responsible for the mail you send.

Your sign-in

You authorize Mailbolt to sign in to the mailbox. You can remove an account in the app, and you can withdraw a Google or Microsoft permission from that provider. Removing access stops Mailbolt from signing in. It does not delete mail stored by the provider.

Acceptable use

Do not use Mailbolt to break the law, to access a mailbox without permission, or to interfere with the app or a mail provider. Mailbolt may refuse a connection that cannot be made safely.

Availability

Mailbolt is provided as available. Mail providers change their sign-in rules, and a connection can fail. Mailbolt does not promise uninterrupted access to a mailbox.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Mailbolt is not liable for lost messages, delays at a mail provider, or damage caused by mail you send or receive. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

These terms can be updated by publishing a new version at this address. The date at the top is the date of the current version. If you continue to use Mailbolt after a change, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Questions can be sent to privacy@mailbolt.app.
